How We Undertook The Project
The project involved the construction of a quite complex extension to the existing Pre-prep building with internal re modelling of certain areas in addition to overseeing the installation of a new modular, standalone classroom block alongside it.
We worked closely with the school’s staff to ensure the project was completed by the required contracted date. Communication levels between site management and the school’s team throughout the project were exemplary.
The project was finished to a high standard and the school are delighted with their new extension and modular building.
The Challenges Of The Project
Accessibility & Storage
The building was of a very unusual design and there was restricted access to the site and very limited storage space.
Deliveries could only be made at certain times.
Health & Safety
The extension necessitated working alongside the school’s youngest children with all that entails in terms of Health & Safety and safeguarding to ensure their education was not adversely affected or disrupted.
